I had everything delivered right to my front door

I ordered several items for a construction job that was supposed to begin in April.

Unfortunately, the owner of the business decided not to build and the whole project was stopped.

It took some time before there was another person that wanted to take over the project. I had a ton of materials and nowhere to store them. I spoke with a storage facility in town, but I wanted to find a place that has climate control and no access to the outside. I didn’t want to lose $10,000 worth of 16 gauge galvanized double loop rebar ties. I also had about $5,000 worth of 14 gauge galvanized double loop bar ties. I knew that I would be able to use these on other jobs, so I found a storage unit in a high-rise facility. No place had a security officer on duty twenty-four hours a day. The building was only open during the daytime hours. When I had to retrieve the 16 gauge galvanized double loop rebar ties, I had a difficult time getting to the building before they were closed. My days rarely ended before 5, but that is when the storage facility closed down. I had to make a special trip 1 morning so I could grab all of the double loop rebar ties that I needed for the next two jobs. Then I didn’t have to go back to the building a bunch of times. It’s not as if I don’t want to go to the storage facility, but it is all the way on the other side of town and takes at least 2 hours out of my day.
